GMP
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification maximizes the safety and efficacy of the natural health products Intero manufactures and distributes. We are regularly inspected on premises, equipment, sanitation, raw materials, packaging materials and finished products. As a team, every branch of Organika is committed to the high standards of quality control and quality assurance that GMP incorporates. Products are only released after all applicable testing has ben confirmed.
NPN Certification
All natural products required NPN product number before they can be sold in Canada.
This number on the label will inform consumers that the product has been reviewed and approved by Health Canada for safety and efficacy.
Site License
Licence is issued by the Minister of Health under the Authority of section 29 of the Natural Health Products Regulations Authorized for Manufacturing, Packaging, Labelling and Importing. Recently The Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) has changed its name to the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD). The Government of Canada is making more data and information available to Canadians than ever before. Canadians are also being offered more opportunities to participate in discussions on government policies and priorities. As a regulator, Health Canada plays an important role in protecting the health and safety of Canadians and is committed to greater transparency and openness to further strengthen trust in our regulatory decisions.
